Mary Ann BRAIN, daughter of John BRAIN and Hannah DARK, bapt 1802 in Bitton, married John LINTERN on 1 Oct 1827, Bitton. John, a thatcher, was born approx 1802 in Bitton. They were parents to Mary Ann LINTERN (born 1 Oct 1827 in Bitton). Mary Ann LINTERN married Andrew Joseph HYDEN and after his death, married William BRIGHT and followed Mary's grown HYDEN children out to live in Australia.
John LINTERN died before his daughter was married in Bath in 1855. I had no idea what became of 1802 Mary Ann. It seems she went on to marry neighbor John MEERE in 1848, Bitton and then Charles ALVIS in 1849, Bitton.
