I am a direct descendent of Charles James COATES who was born in Stanton Drew. I'm hoping for some help on the COATES family but also have information to share on my researches so far into the branch of the family who arrived here in South Australia, including photos and very interesting records from our wonderful Mortlock Library in Adelaide.
