My earliest are Aaron and Sarah ILES (possibly 3XGgparents). Per the 1841/52 censuses, Aaron was b. 1811, Bitton or Oldland. We believe he's a s/o Aaron and Sarah nee BRAIN. Aaron m. Sarah COOL in 1827, at Holy Trinity, Kingswood, Glouc.
Aaron and Sarah are the parents of Solomon ILES, born in Bitton, Glouc, 1827; bap. Kingswood School, Bitton 28 Jan 1831. Solomon m. Hannah BRYANT at Holy Trinity at Oldland, Kingswood, Glouc on 21 Oct 1849. See my BRYANT entry for Hannah's family.

My Ada PAICE (nee MAY) married Henry ILES 4th Qtr 1898 Barton R. Henry ILES says on various census records that he was born in Kingswood, St. George & Bristol between 1848 & 1851. There are too many HENRY ILES for me to choose from, lol. Henry was a shoe rivetter. He was previously married but I am not positive of his previous wife's name. I believe she was Jane WERRETT born 1849 Hanham. The only clue to this is that in the 1891 Census, Henry & Jane ILES have children Frank and Bertha and children with these given names appear with Henry & Ada ILES in 1901.
I've been conducting a thorough search of the ILES families from Gloucester in an effort to establish the parents of Henry ILES by process of elimination. From my CD of Bristol Diocese Baptisms 1813-1837 I have picked up as many baptisms as I could, however, I am looking for transcriptions of the earlier parish registers to add specific information.
