The earliest OLDS found so far is John OLD born around 1700 although place of birth has yet to be determined. He married Hannah ? before 1729 and they had at least 3 children: James born 1729/30, John (from whom I am descended) born 1733 and Hannah born about 1735.

John OLD snr remarried Ann CHRISTOPHER in 1761 and they had a daughter, also called Ann in 1762. Unfortunately, Ann snr died a year later with John dying in January 1774. Although John lived and died in Hanham, he was buried in Holy Trinity, Stapleton.
