Hannah BARNES widow nominates her son John BARNES 6.4.1754 to handle the estate as her husband died intestate.

11th May 1754 John BARNES appeared personally stating he was the natural and lawful son of Thomas BARNES. Administration was granted.

John BARNES of Syson in the County of Gloucester Maltster and Henry BRADLEY of the City of Gloucester Butcher are held and firmly bound unto James LORD Bishop of the Diocese of Gloucester in the sum of £500.00

Dated the 11th May 1754 in the condition and obligation to administer the estate of Thomas BARNES of Bitton Maltster.
