This is the last will and testament of me Elizabeth OLDS of Kingswood in the parish of Bitton....dated September 23rd 1891. After my funeral expenses and all my debts have been paid, I give, devise and bequeath all my furniture and the sum of £35 to Mary, wife of my son, Joseph OLDS, deceased; £10 to Frederick James, son of my son Henry OLDS to be invested in Post Office Savings Bank on trust until he reaches the age of 13 years; to be then withdrawn and used in apprenticing to a trade the said Frederick James OLDS. And I appoint William COTTLE of Kingswood to be executor and receive £5 for his trouble and expenses. All balance of money left to be divided equally amongst my children.
