This is the last will and testament of me Charles WILMOT of Cadbury Heath Warmley near Bristol shopkeeper I appoint my dear wife Fanny WILMOT sole executrix of this my will and I hereby devise and bequeath to her my cottage and premises in which I now reside and all my household furniture and effects and all other my real and personal estate for and during her life And at her decease I devise and bequeath the whole of my aforesaid estate and effects unto my two sons George and Isaac Upon trust to sell and convert the same into money and to stand possessed of the net proceeds thereof after paying all expenses

In trust to pay one equal seventh part or share thereof to each of my four sons and two daughters videlict George WILMOT, John WILMOT, Charles WILMOT, Alfred WILMOT, Elizabeth SHORT and Sarah Ann HUNT absolutely and to pay one half of the remaining one equal seventh part or share thereof to my said son Isaac WILMOT absolutely

And as to the other half of the remaining equal seventh part or share thereof to pay the same unto and equally between such of the three children of my said son Isaac by his first wife as shall then be living and shall attain the age of twenty one years Provided always that if any child of mine shall die in my lifetime leaving a child or children who shall survive me and attain the age of twenty one years then and in every such case the last mentioned child or children shall take (and if more than one equally between them) the share which his or her or their parent would have taken in my estate if such parent had survived me but the said three children of my son Isaac by his first wife shall take no part or share under this provisio

I revoke all former wills made by me and declare this to be my last will in witness whereof I have set my hand this thirty first day of December one thousand eight hundred and eighty eight.

Signed by the above named Charles WILMOT as his last will in the presence of us both being present at the same time who in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.

On the twenty fifth day of January 1899 administration (with this will) of the estate of the testator was granted at Bristol to George WILLMOTT and Isaac WILLMOTT the universal legatees in trust.


Transcriber's Notes
He bap. 5.12.1819 and married Fanny Lovell 19.1.1843 at Holy Trinity St. Philips. Both were buried at St. Barnabas Warmley.

1844: daughter Elizabeth bap; married Aaron SHORT 1865 St.George.
1846: son George born
1851 son Isaac born
1853 daughter Sarah Ann born
1859 sons Charles and Alfred bap

Isaac's first wife Hannah Jane POLLINGER. Second wife Eliza QUICK.
His children by his 1st wife were:

Mabel Annie bap. 1876 m. Joseph NOBLE June 1899 at St. Barnabas
