She m. John TOMPSON, 1709, Newland, GLS (per allegations; age 22, so b. abt 1687). How does she fit into the rest of the COSTER family? There was a Dorothy, d/o James COSTER, bapt 1687. Her age is appropriate; father James had a will admon and mentioned only his wife. It may be possible, but this is too circumstantial to enter with any certainty. Did she and John go to Surrey? Is she the mother of 1722 James THOMPSON, b. Surrey? WILLIAMS, Joseph

Wanted, a birthplace and parents for Joseph WILLIAMS born around 1776?, possibly Saltford SOM (church records incomplete), or other nearby parish. Joseph was a "Roller in the Brass Works" who lived and worked around Saltford (1805 - 1822) and Bitton (1802, 1826 - 1842). Also seeking the marriage of Joseph to Mary (surname unknown - born Bagley SOM ), a young widow. They married around 1801-02. Contact Clare

Searching for birth/parents/ancestors of Charles WILMOTT, yeoman farmer of Bitton, Gloucestershire. Believed born 1680s/1690s. Charles married Susanna JAY at Yate on 30 June 1717, and died 1746 or 1747. Letters of Administration granted 14 January 1747. Charles had a son Isaac, and may also have had a brother Isaac.
